What is the scope of your responsibilities and how did you join EPOS?
I was the Team Leader for the EU funded project in Serbia “Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia” (2009 –2011). I was referred to EPOS, having prior consulting work experience in Serbia and a background in hospital management, health policy, quality and accreditation in Canada, Greece and Russia.
I had assignments with EPOS in Algeria as a short term Hospital Management expert, as well as concept development and methodology writing for new projects.
What has been your most important experience while working at EPOS?
EPOS’ corporate culture fosters high quality project management and backstopping. By paying attention to details while always seeing the bigger picture, the EPOS team provides very good project management skills and clear, confident communication.
Additionally, EPOS has well developed policies, procedures and guidelines to assist Team Leaders in many aspects of project management, including financial management support – timely and correct payments.
How would you describe working as part of the EPOS team?
It is a pleasure working with the EPOS team. The caring team atmosphere and support to accomplish results was an essential part to implementing the project I led in Serbia. This approach is evidenced by the excellent client and beneficiary evaluations. Respectful of the culture and beneficiary, the EPOS team provided professional advice and support to me as the Team Leader. My managerial expertise, assessments of situations in the field, and positive project results were valued by EPOS.
What information would you like to share with people interested in working with EPOS?
In life there are those that talk about doing and those that actually do. EPOS is the latter.
