On October 30, 2017, a dissemination event of Addressing Bangladesh’s Demographic Challenges (ABDC) project, titled ‘Urban Health Challenges: Learnings and Way Forward’ was organised by EPOS Health Management GmbH at Spectra Convention Centre in Dhaka. ABDC is a health project that is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, supported by EPOS Health Management GmbH and funded by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
On October 30th, EPOS Health Management will organise a dissemination event titled “Urban Health Challenges: Learnings and Way Forward” for partners in the health sector in the framework of the GIZ project Addressing Bangladesh’s Demographic Challenges (ABDC).
The Punjab Health Minister, Khawaja Salman Rafique, and German Ambassador, Ina Lapel, recently inaugurated a modern Regional Blood Centre in Multan developed with the German government grant through KfW-German Development Bank and the EPOS-implemented "Safe Blood Transfusion Project". The inauguration ceremony also covered the opening of a similar Centre in Bahawalpur by the project with a total funding of Rs. 30 crore (Euro 2.6 million).
