An induction meeting with the new team leader of the European Union (EU) funded Health Sector Support PASS II project in Angola was recently held at EPOS Health Management headquarters in Bad Homburg, Germany. Mary Daly, who began as new team leader in June, met with Angel Vega, former team leader, as well as EPOS colleagues and consortium partner, Quantum Solutions Emerging Markets, to guarantee a smooth hand over and project continuation.
Mary is a medical doctor who has lived and worked in Angola for over 30 years, notably for international NGOs such as ChildFund International and Development Workshop. Since taking up her position as PASS II team leader, she has made steady progress in terms of setting up and implementing the activities planned within the final stage of the project, the overall objective of which is to improve the health status of the population of Angola, particularly that of women and children, in five intervention provinces.
We wish Mary every success in her new role leading the PASS II project.
