EPOS’ business activities are traditionally rooted in donor-financed international development cooperation, which at present provides ninety percent of the overall business volume. However, new and innovative business fields in the framework of non-donor financed health facility consulting have been successfully added to EPOS’ portfolio in recent years.

The company provides services to all major institutions involved in international cooperation, including multilateral organisations such as the European Union, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), and bilateral organisations such as the KfW Development Bank, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), the Australian Government's overseas aid programme (AusAid), the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
EPOS is also part of the German Healthcare Partnership (GHP), a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) which pools the world´s most reputed health experts and suppliers of medical equipment for the purpose of providing health infrastructure in developing and emerging markets.
